Travel itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakech

Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakech

Pick up at the airport at the time of arrival of the flight and transfer to the hotel. Free time in Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech for Casablanca where we will visit the city and the famous and impressive Hassan II mosque. Then we will depart to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital and old imperial city. Visit to the city. Overnight in a hotel in Rabat.

Day 3 - Rabat - Meknes - Fez

In the morning after breakfast, we will depart to the smallest of the imperial cities, Meknes. We will visit the Bab Mansour, the most important and remarkable gate of Meknes. Then we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and then depart to Fez. Overnight in a hotel in Fez.

Day 4 - Fez

After breakfast, we will start the visit to the Old City of Fez (Fez el-Bali) and the medina, the largest and most famous of all the Arab world. We will enter through the most famous gate, the Bab Boujloud. Then we will go to Dar Batha, the Bou Inaniay Madrasa and the Koranic school of Fez. Later we will visit the leather tannery. Overnight in a hotel in Fez.

Day 5 - Fez - Ifrane - Merzouga

We will leave Fez towards Ifrane, an exceptional site located at 1,650m above sea level, nicknamed “The Switzerland of Morocco”, where we will take a walk to admire the scenery and continue to Merzouga. We will pass through the Zad pass, in the Middle Atlas, towards the city of Midelt, located at 1,488m above sea level. The road crosses the wonderful gorges of the Ziz to reach Er-Rachidia. Finally we will arrive at Rissani, the gateway to the desert, and from here to Merzouga. Overnight in a riad in Merzouga.

Day 6 - 4×4 Tour and Night in the Berber Tents

After breakfast, we will take the 4×4 to reach the caves where the natural fossils of the desert are found. We will arrive in the city of Khamlia, famous for its inhabitants coming from black Africa and for its music. This city is very famous for the music and dance festival held here the first week of August.
Later we will take the camels and after a camel ride of about an hour and a half, we will arrive at the Berber camp to watch the sunset and spend the night. The camel drivers will prepare a typical dinner and we can climb a dune to contemplate the stars. Overnight in an authentic Berber tent.

Day 7 - Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

We will get up early in the morning to see the sunrise and the different colors of the dunes, and then return to the riad for a shower and a good breakfast. Then we will leave for the Todra Gorges. We will visit the gorges and see an incredible landscape of rock walls, they are a paradise for climbers. There we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8 - Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate

After breakfast we will continue to the Valley of Roses. We will make a stop in the main town of this valley, El Kalaâ M’Gouna, famous for these flowers, from which many skin care products are manufactured. From here we will head to Skoura, to visit the Kasbah. And then we will leave for Ouarzazate. Overnight in a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 9 - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast we will visit the city of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the largest and most famous film studios in Africa. From here we will go to the Oasis of Fint, next to Ouarzazate. And we will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site, where countless movies have been filmed, some as famous as Gladiator, Obelix or The Jewel of the Nile. We will resume the march on the road to Tizi-n-Tichka and have lunch in a small village. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Accommodation in a hotel in Marrakech.

Day 10 - Marrakech

After breakfast you will have free time to visit the Bahia palace, built around 1880 and the palace of Dar Si-Said. Near these two palaces you will see the exterior of the El-Mansour mosque. The visit continues seeing the Saadian tombs and of course the great square of Jmaa Al Fnaa, a spectacle both day and night. Accommodation in a hotel in Marrakech.

Day 11 - Marrakech - Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast we will take the road towards Essaouira, the old Mogador and we will start the visit of this beautiful city in its port, mainly focused on fishing and one of the liveliest places in the city. Later we will visit the medina. We will be able to eat an excellent fish and in the afternoon return to Marrakech to spend the night. Overnight in a hotel in Marrakech.

Day 12 - Marrakech - Airport Marrakech

Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport, according to flight schedule. Have a good trip.
